LingoAce partnered with the Chinese Language Association of Secondary-Elementary Schools (CLASS) to help celebrate and honor outstanding Chinese language teachers across the United States. Held at the 2022 Annual Convention and World Languages Expo (ACTFL) in Boston, this was the first in-person, post-pandemic gathering of over 6,500 world language educators from across the U.S.
As an advocate for Chinese language learning, LingoAce helped celebrate CLASS’ 35th anniversary at the ACTFL Conference – a significant milestone for the largest professional organization of K-12 Chinese language educators in the United States. The focus of the event was on overcoming challenges and having a positive impact on teaching the Chinese language during the pandemic.
With LingoAce‘s support, CLASS was also able to host a series of activities for more than 400 Chinese language teachers, including professional development and training workshops, the annual CLASS luncheon, and the Chinese Language Teacher Awards. On the latter, eight teachers were honored this year for their contributions to the field.
