Do you want your child to learn Chinese? Learning Chinese is not difficult, but it is very different from English. The good news is that children pick up languages much easier than adults —the difficulty is finding out where to start.
Children learn differently from adults and unfortunately, many of the resources out there are designed for the adult learner. At LingoAce, we’ve designed a learning journey that is tailored to your child’s needs while being fun and effective.
So, here are a few ways LingoAce Chinese courses will excel your child’s language learning journey — from beginner to a fluent speaker. We’ve also put together a few free resources to get you started.
Chinese lessons for your child’s language level
LingoAce offers individual, online Chinese language lessons for children 3-15 years old. Our four language programs— Preschool, Core, Discovery, and Advanced— are tailored specifically for child’s language learning level and offer engaging, age-appropriate curriculum. Gamified Chinese lessons
Gen Alpha (aka children born in or after 2010) are born techies, and our lessons take that into account. Our lessons are not teacher-centric and break free from the traditional classroom style. Instead, each lesson is interactive and gamified.
In each lesson, our teachers introduce a theme that is relevant and interesting to your child — let’s say family, school, food, animals, etc. Our certified teachers help your child express themselves in Chinese and reinforce their language skills through interactive games embedded in the lesson. Our approach keeps children engaged and helps them reach fluency faster.

Project-based Chinese lessons
Learning a language is essentially learning how to express yourself in a new way. For children, language expression look different depending on their age. What is interesting to a 5-year-old is different from what is interesting to a 10-year-old, and how a child speaks and expresses themselves is different depending on their age.
LingoAce curriculum is project-based to address this. Our teachers don’t just focus on topics, but on how your child can utilize the new language in a concrete way. Projects are based on real-world scenarios and interests that are important to your child. For example:
In a food-based project, your child could design a menu with their favorite dishes (and the dishes don’t have to be Chinese ones!). They would pretend to order from their menu and could even get their family involved as patrons to their newly opened restaurant.
In a project about home life, your child would use our platform to design and decorate their virtual room. Then, they would use their language skills to describe their design choices to their LingoAce teacher.
In a project about technology, your child would design their own robot and discuss how their robot would help them with their daily life- from home to school and everywhere in between.
Through project-based, we aim to ignite their imagination and curiosity while speaking Chinese.
Chinese lessons that provide real-time feedback
Whether your child is a heritage speaker or just starting out, we know that practice outside of their individual class is just as important as the class itself. So, we have designed resources for your child to practice outside of the classroom.
The LingoAce platform and app for learners includes games, interactive activities, and a digital library, so children can practice their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. The platform provides instant feedback to your child in a way that’s easy to understand. Your child’s teacher will also review their interactions on the platform to better structure their next lessons — ensuring that they target areas that need improvement.
